I think everyone can relate to this quote, there's those moments in life where you've missed a once in a life time opportunity just because you were too scared you were going to mess it up. As a musician + an introvert this is something I have to overcome every single time I perform and it's tough but it's my dream and my passion. And there is nothing like coming out the other side of a great performance!

Let this inspire you today to take those opportunities up that you would usually be too scared to do.

As you know about me I am 18 and the drummer for the band Amore. When I started drumming at the age of 2, I've had to go on to do many things like drumming at our spotlight concerts at school, chapel bands, church band, youth band and so on. I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for my awesome dad and my drum teacher. Because i wouldn't get to do the things I get to do now and I am very grateful for what they have done to me to get me this far in my life.   

Having Eternal Life

This week I was thinking to myself why do we have God on our side? Because God didn't think you were a mistake to this world and he says it perfectly in the scripture saying "that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life". This is my scripture for today for you guys to look at and to think about what God is like in our lives.

After having foot surgery I have a large amount of time to discover, learn and play great music!

Why Amore?

The name Amore came from Emmalee our Pianists and one of our lead singers. We were trying to find a name for our band for a long time and that's when Emmalee came to the rescue with Amore. The word Amore means love in Italian, that is when we agreed to go with the name. This is because the songs that we are doing in our band works together with the name Amore.

Let him carry the load

This morning, when I woke up I felt mentally and physically tired, this past week of exams and assessments drained all the I had left energy left.  However, this morning when I checked my bible verse of the day and read this verse, I no longer felt tired nor drained but refreshed. God reminded, me that he walks with me and wants to lighten the load I carry and he offers rest for our tired souls.

So I wanted to encourage you today, that no matter what going through that you don't have to carry it all on your shoulders but God wants to carry it for you and provided you rest for your soul. All you have to do is just asked and he will do the rest.

Why Amore?

Hey guys, My name is Emmalee, I am one of the lead singers and pianist in Amore. I'm so excited to share our band's journey with you all and play for you in our upcoming gig at the Solbar.

Random band fact! Why are we called Amore? the sappy word called love in Italian. Our band decided on this name because we are inspired by other's music about their journey of love, and how it can be the world's greatest tragedy yet the most beautiful emotion which led us to perform songs about love and also heart-break <3.
